Are You Kidding Me!?

So, I worked my finagling skills to the bone to make a deal for 1/2 day off this week and today was IT! I was to drive south to pick up my new steel forkety-fork from Mr. Quiring. BUT, that was all bamboozled from the start = my late plan of action... spelling bee... yah, stuff!

So, I made an alternate plan for my 1/2 day off that included morel hunting with my poppa-daddio after abandoning my school children. Scratch that. I didn't abandon.. I simply left them with a very vivacious lady who was teaching them French when she was supposed to be starting a math lesson. Ok, maybe she was developing rapport? ho.hum.. after giggling outside the door for several minutes with a colleague or 2... I had to leave the scene and get on with my FREE 1/2 day!

What to do.... Well, the morel plan tanked when my dad informed me there would not be enough time if he was to pick up the little E and L from school today. Yep, that is important for sure. Dread the thought of 2 of the cutest children I know sitting in an after-school program while I fill mesh bag after mesh bag after mesh bag with the scrumptious morel.... hmm Now WHY couldn't he just leave them at school a little longer today!??

After 3 .. make that 4 calls with G, who is on the road as I type to northern Michigan... It was fate that I would have plenty of time to junk out on the royal wedding before tonight's final ride before my first RACE of the season!! whoo hoo? (can't seem to break that habit)

That's right. I watched it from the start to the finale! Big hats, Big Choir, Big Pomp, Big Circumstances... or not. Yah, I know many don't see the point, but I have been a "Royalist" (learned that word on BBC) since the early 80's... when I was born uhh... or not.

Here are some other fabulous finds for my 1/2 day off! Did you really think I'd spend time cleaning my house? Planting flowers? Putting away piles of laundry? Unpacking countless packs, bags... ??? Swabbing down a very dirty bike... or CAR???? Clearing out that closet that I promised to do SO many times since last August??? ha ha ... no sir, I have FAR too much to do... too much to worry about than that business.



Stop motion tranquilizes me and then I fall in love.. & feel like I could die and then the feeling starts all over and over and over again... why is it so hard to imagine a girl... a woman... loving the Royals?
