Whistle Walk...Watch it here!

This is how I saw myself... a bundled shadow of happiness.

This is how I saw one of my favorite stretches of Lake Michigan beach... littered with rocks, a skiff of snow, and beautiful crashing waves.

A little ice in the mix to remind us that winter is always looming... Ok, maybe that was an evil thing for me to say...

The Boy wore his rubber boots and I was jealous. Well, at least I didn't have to put my hands in the water to fetch pretty stones for anyone... thanks G!

There were plenty lurking on-shore... and soon became pocket weights.

Oooo...

The lolly-gagger with the lovely dunes beautifying the moment... oh, and THAT SUN!!!

It was an absolutely beautiful late afternoon for a long, leisurely stroll along the beach.

Very few people.... more dogs than people.... more rocks than people.. more beauty than I can digest.

So, things got a little silly on the walk back...

And, I never miss an opportunity to show my muscles.... yes, those are real.

Yah, you try to whistle and walk along a chilly beach... just try it. By the way, can you tell my part from HIS part? Dang, we could have been much better if I could have got the laughter under control. Loved that beach walk'n.
