Since I'm on the Subject

Here are some frivolous & self righteous goals...
- Go to at least one amazing farm market & find one amazing pumpkin to carve in an amazing way.
- Lose a pound.
- Find new lights for around my kitchen window. I need eye candy while doing dishes.
- New sheets.
- Lose a pound.
- Find a really great pair of shoes that become my favorite things this school year.
- Lose a pound.
- Locate a pair of earrings that I enjoy looking at every day. I have had earrings in my ears in months.
- Find a great pair of cycling tights - mid-weight & no padding... suggestions welcome.
- Lose another pound.
- Make my favorite everything-but-the-kitchen-sink muffins. I know, doesn't go with the losing a pound plan.
- Color my sparkling hairs that come with experience & 2nd grade stress. grr.
- Organize my kitchen cupboards once and for all. I'm fed up with things tumbling containers.
- Take a stroll downtown TC to catch a great movie & hit one of my favorite shops... ahem, bookstore.
- Take a long, leisurely fall drive with some wine tasting with a favorite G.
- PURCHASE a new bag/purse... SOMETHING. Ugh, this is so far past due & a least favorite shopping experience, but I do have a couple of items in mind.
- Lose a pound.
- Remove the old polish from my toes. This could take some serious blasting.
- Maybe a new big rug for my bedroom?
- Lose a pound.
- Find a super scary Halloween ride/house/experience.
- 2 ugly words: Gym. Membership. Yep, sounds bad, but I do actually enjoy my gym time. That starts next Monday.
... more to come... & more pounds to lose.... later.

#2, 5, 7, 10, 17, and 20 are also on my list. #14 is kind of, as well. Replace "stroll" with "drive" and "TC" with "Hancock." I've been planning on seeing Dark Knight since before it came out, and I have yet to do so. Hmmmmm....so little time.
A word of advice: replace your #1 with "ride my bike . . . NOW."
Good luck, Ali!
Di
Wow! Now that is some list. Great pic!
Ali.....why are there no people standing at the finish line? That reminds me of the Ore to shore last year. My friend came in dead last. There were only 2 48 mile people on the course still....and he did the 28 mile race.
Sean, Don't be silly. No people at the finish line because I was so FAST they didn't have time to gather. :) .... . .. And it was the day before the race.
I hear ya on that O2S thing. I was very much last in O2S this past August after my mechanicals... I made up "some" time to be ummm around 30 from the bottom of a big field. UGH!
Wow....you are fast.
My friend didn't have a mechanical. He finished in just over 6 hours on the 28 mile course. Good thing was that he did finish......bad thing is that I don't think he has been on the bike since.
I hope the Iceman looks like that this year.....
Ali -
We were pretty worried about you at O2S. The question of the day was, "Where in the heck is Ali!?"
Sean - Which friend?
It was the 2007 race. Chris Johnson. Just look at the slowest time in the 28 mile race.
Di,
It was Chris....but not the Chris that you met. He hasnt ridden his bike since the 2007 Ore to Shore. Its dissapointing. Sorry to hijack your blog Ali.
Oh no, not a problem. :)
